Blue Collar was a studio band from Kansas City that was around in the late 80s. Rick Jaques led the band and played guitar and sometimes bass. Dave McConnell sang and played drums and Tom Gary sang and played keyboards. This version of the band played one live gig, but recorded many hours of great blues both cover and originals. This was originally recorded on July 15th of 2000. It was Jimmy Pyror at The Bowlful of Blues festival, put on by the South Skunk Blues Society at the Maytag Bowl in Newton Iowa. It stars Jimmy Pryor on Kazoo and Vocal, Tom Gary on Piano and Vocal, Jon East on Guitar and Vocal, Scott Cochran on Bass and Vocal, and Brian Connett on Drums. Jeff Hart and Don "T-Bone" Erickson were the announcers.

Tonights show is from either 1988, or 1989. It is Oliver Riley and the Blues Notions from Kansas City. This was a legendary Band that was originaly led by Oliver Riley. They ruled Sunday Night with their famous Blues Jam at the Roxy Bar and Grill. The band was led by Oliver Riley on Guitar and Vocals, and Wayne Smith on Bass, with Greg Mays on drums, Billy Thomas on rhythm guitar, and Dave Creighton on B3.

This features Jimmy Pryor in his prime, with John "Woody Wood! Our guest for the night was the Legendary Jon East with special appearance by Clarence Key Jr! Almost two hours of blues tonight!!!!!!
The show was produced and recorded by Tom Gary. The house band was Scott Long, Tom Gary, John Wood, and Jim Farr with lead vocals by Jimmy "The Midnite Cowboy" Pryor. Also on the show was Jeff Ward.
