Tonights show originally aired on the internet in December of 2003.  It starred Jody Bodley, Dewey Cantrell, Gene Jackson, a Tribute to Chicago Rick and Des Moines on $50 with Frank Strong. 

The show was produced by Jay Taylor and Tom Gary.  Director of bands was Jono Smith, with Rick Mosqueda, John Lee Eagan, Don Brown, and Frank Strong.

Tonights show is from Janurary of 2007.  It is the tribute show for Jimmy Pryor that we did at Buena Vista University for my Blues History class.  It features music and stories of Jimmy Pryor.  Helping me was the Erick Hovey Band.  On the show was Erick Hovey on guitar, Jeff Foreman on drums, and Dan Lodden on Bass.

Tonights show is the 2009 release Recycled Souls by Erick Hovey.  Erick is the gentleman farmer from Badger Iowa, who is probably the most prolific song writer in the state.  He is currently working on a new release and has over 40 songs to choose from.  His last release was not a double CD, but two seperate CDS!  Blues Farm, and Recycled Souls.  last year we heard Blues Farm, tonight we hear Recycled Souls.  

Recycled Souls was recorded and produced by Dan Lodden in the Bunker stuido in Humboldt, Iowa.  Erick Hovey on vocals and guitar, Jeff Foreman on drums, Tom Gary on Keys, Dan Lodden on Bass, and drums, Andy Schneider on Bass on Sweet Fire Rain.  Heather Kelly on vocals, Plus backing vocals by Scott ?Dahl, Trevor Gould, Cole Harklou, Sammi Johnson, Sara Main, and Jessica Webb.

This was the second part of the October 2003 Iowa blues showcase.   It originally aired on the Iowa Blues Showcase internet radio station.  It starred Gary Smith, Clover Buckingham, Dennis Kain, and Jeff Baker.  Also on the show was Kyle Dean Patton, and Rob Lumbard.  We do where in the world is Woody!  and Jeff's wife calls the show:-)   Finally we have a mystery drummer named Mike who played with Gary Smith and the land sharks.

This was originally recorded on July 15th of 2000.  It was Jimmy Pyror at The Bowlful of Blues festival, put on by the South Skunk Blues Society at the Maytag Bowl in Newton Iowa.  It stars Jimmy Pryor on Kazoo and Vocal, Tom Gary on Piano and Vocal, Jon East on Guitar and Vocal, Scott Cochran on Bass and Vocal, and Brian Connett on Drums.   Jeff Hart and Don "T-Bone" Erickson were the announcers.

Tonights show is a long one, and a great one!   Its the Sunday Night Blues Showcase from the Hull Ave sometime around May, or June of 1999!   This features Jimmy Pryor in his prime, with John "Woody Wood!   Our guest for the night was the Legendary Jon East with special appearance by Clarence Key Jr!   Almost two hours of blues tonight!!!!!!

The show was produced and recorded by Tom Gary.  The house band was Scott Long, Tom Gary, John Wood, and Jim Farr with lead vocals by Jimmy "The Midnite Cowboy" Pryor.  Also on the show was Jeff Ward.
