The Iowa Blues Showcase features local, regional, and national blues artists. It is both new live shows, and archive shows going back to the 1980s.

Originally aired on 3-29-2003 and starred Brandon Dennis, Andy Coats, and Frank Strong with Des Moines on $50 Dollars.   

The show was produced by Jay Taylor and Tom Gary.  Director of bands was Jono Smith, with Frank Strong, Dave Andrews, Rick Mo, Don Brown, and John Lee Eagan.  

At the end of the show is the hit single from Yesterday and Today by the Tom Gary Blues Band, Holly Golightly blues.

Tonights was orginially recorded on 3-15-2003 and started the Too Hot Tamales and Frank Strong.  The Too Hot Tamales were Sherry Chappel, Clover Buckingham, and Rick Shultz.  It also features not only Frank Strong, but Des Moines on $50!!!!!

This is the second installment.  tonight we feature Bridget Thompson, Tina haas Finley, Sadona Cochrane, Matt Woods, Big Daddy Dennis Kain, Blue Two (Bob Dorr, and Jeff Peterson) Brandon Dennis, Jesse Moore, Bob Pace, and the Bad Boys of the Blues!  RIP Jeff Stratton.
